Summer Reading Club 2016

Summer Reading Club is back!

Reading is the basis of all school curricula so don't let your child fall into 'summer slide' reading loss. Help your child succeed by practising their reading skills over summer at the Library.

The Club runs from 1 December to 24 January. Children up to 15 years of age can enter; parents are encouraged to help with reading for younger children.

Keep a record of your child's reading progress in the Summer Reading Club Log Book available from Lane Cove or Greenwich Libraries or print one from here.

As your child finishes reading a book, write the details in the Log book and once 5 titles have been read, come to the Library to collect a small prize and to claim an entry into the major prize draw. This year, the major prize is a massive Lego pack worth over $300!

Everyone who has a ticket in the major prize draw will be invited to attend the exclusive wrap party on the 25 January when the prizes will be drawn.

This year's theme is 'Heroes and Villains'. Look out for fun craft sessions in the Library, get your child to join the Club and see them become a reading superhero.

So join in the fun, register now and start reading!
