Summer Lovin’ Instagram Competition

From the bushwalks and the BBQs; to the weather and the water, there’s lots to love about Lane Cove in the summertime. Show us your Lane Cove summer for your chance to win one of three $50 Lane Cove Gift Cards! HarbourCare Kayak Clean-up - Lane Cove West

Launch into the New Year by launching a kayak into the Lane Cove River, collecting marine litter as you paddle around Lane Cove’s estuarine ecosystems.

Kayaks supplied (sport/touring design), medium level fitness required, a little kayaking experience preferred but not necessary. Minimum age 11 years old. Under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult. Bags, gloves and litter pickers provided. BYO water. Must wear enclosed shoes to attend.

Birding for Beginners

Enjoy a bushwalk with an experienced bird watcher to pick up handy tips on bird watching and how to distinguish between different kinds of birds. Be introduced to a wonderful variety of wrens, honeyeaters and other birdlife and help complete a bird survey! A great activity for families and those keen to discover more about our local birds.
