Lane Cove's Food + Wine by the River
Sunday 3 November, 11:00am – 5:00pm, Tambourine Bay Reserve, Riverview
20 popular regional wine and food stallholders will be serving up mouth-watering flavours at this popular event. Combining the best of Sydney with the best of the country, Food and Wine by the River provides the perfect blend of sunshine, water views and fine wines from the Orange region. In addition to live entertainment with musical performance by Smith and Jones from the Orange Region, this family-friendly event includes free face painting and an animal petting farm for the kids and, as long as dogs are on a leash, they can come too. There will be a free shuttle bus running from the Lane Cove Library down to the event. Food and Wine by the River is a licenced event with no BYO or glass permitted.

Paint Our River

Capture the vista of the river as you dabble in creating your own masterpiece under the guidance of local artist Susie Devenport. Held just down from the Food and Wine by the River event you can enjoy the opportunity to create your own unique piece in this relaxed, supportive environment suitable for beginners to painters of any level. Bring along your own materials or purchase a beginner pack from Council including acrylic paints, mixing palette and canvas.

Futuristic Art + Film - Stacks & Sleeves + Alita Battle Angel

Come on a guided exhibition tour of the Sci-Fi inspired installation Stacks and Sleeves: A Posthuman Landscape at Gallery Lane Cove. Then visit Lane Cove Library for a screening of the 2019 cyberpunk action film Alita Battle Angel. Start at the Gallery at 5:00pm for the tour and refreshments then proceed to the Library for the film at 5.30pm.

HarbourCare Kayak Cleanup

Help us collect litter along the banks of the Lane Cove River and the surrounding areas. Cleanups are a great way to bring the community together, raise awareness, and start the conversation about reducing litter at the source.
