Blackman Park is located in Lloyd Rees Drive (off Wood Street) Lane Cove West.
A major renovation of ovals B3 & B4 was completed with the upgrade providing opportunity for a full length AFL field and two new full-size cricket wickets.
Council reprofiled and relevelled the surface. New irrigation and drainage was installed to improve the longevity of the field surface and new turf was laid down.
Blackman Park's new off-leash dog park was officially opened by Mayor of Lane Cove, Councillor Pam Palmer, on Sunday 5 May 2019. The fenced area provides additional off-leash exercise space and includes water, shade, seating and agility equipment for dogs of all sizes. Off-leash use of the ovals will remain when sporting activities are not in progress.
