Lane Cove Draft Local Environmental Plan 2008   About the Draft LEP DLEP 2008 adopted by Council and submitted to Department of Planning for gazettal At the Council Meeting on 4 August 2008 Council resolved to adopt Draft Local Environmental Plan 2008 (DLEP 2008) and submit it to the Department of Planning (DoP) for gazettal. The final DLEP 2008 as submitted to the Department in September 2008 is available online here:- DLEP 2008 text document DLEP 2008 maps The zoning, floor space ratio, heights and other planning controls in DLEP 2008 can be viewed in the maps. These controls may be endorsed by the DoP, it is envisaged that the DLEP and comprehensive DCP will come into effect in the second half of 2009.  Please note that DLEP 2008 has not been gazetted at this time and is not in effect .  Whilst the DLEP must be taken into consideration for development applications lodged prior to the plan being published in the Government Gazette by the Department of Planning, the controls in it may be subject to change.
