Council Services » Lane Cove Community Centre   The Community Centre has a multi-purpose room that is ideal for group meetings. It is regularly used by local community groups of all types. The Community Centre is located at 164 Longueville Road, Lane Cove; opposite Lane Cove Library. Parking is available at the Centre in the evenings and on weekends. Weekday parking is available in the Austin Street Carpark. There are City, North Sydney and Chatswood buses available just up the road; and a taxi rank opposite. There is disabled access to the building along with accessible toilets. The is a carpeted room of approx 70 sq m in size, with a seating capacity of up to 60 people theatre style. There are trestle tables and chairs available; tea and coffee making facilities, and a whiteboard. The kitchen is equipped with stove, microwave, instant boil wall urn and dishwasher. There are no kitchen utensils or crockery available in the centre for hirers. You will need to provide your own. The room is booked out most weekdays to community groups who run a range of programs and events from this facility, but is available for casual hire some evenings and on weekends.  The room has an upright piano which may be used upon request.
