Council has received a Development Application (DA172/2016) for 296-314 Burns Bay Road, Lane Cove for the construction of a Residential Flat Building with basement parking, 60 place Child Care Centre, Neighbourhood Shop, Subdivision and address change to 2 Waterview Drive, Lane Cove. In connection with this Development Application, Council and the developer have negotiated a draft Voluntary Planning Agreement (VPA). This agreement will require the Developer to construct, free of cost, and dedicate the child care centre and neighbourhood shop with associated parking to Council and construct a landscape entry statement to the precinct on Council land, in lieu of the payment of s94 contributions. Note the value of the items to be provided under the VPA exceeds the applicable s94 contributions.
