Overview

Council has prepared a Delivery Program and Operational Plan 2019–2020 which outlines the actions to be undertaken to implement its Community Strategic Plan – Liveable Lane Cove 2035, and a Budget supporting these actions.

At the Ordinary Council Meeting on 15 April 2019, Council resolved to consult with the community in relation to the proposed plans and actions on the full range of documents including the Draft Delivery Program and Operational Plan 2019-20, Draft Budget 2019 – 2020 and Draft Fees and Charges 2019 – 2020.

A Budget Summary 2019–2020 document was also prepared which summarises the draft Budget, major projects, highlights and key actions as well as the proposed works program for the year.

Outcome

A post consultation report considering the submissions received during the consultation period was considered at the Ordinary Council Meeting of 17 June 2019 where it was resolved to adopt the recommendation outlined in the report to adopt the draft plans.

It is noted that Council is now consulting separately on a proposal for the addition of electronic file management fees for Development Applications lodged online to Council's Fees and Charges Schedule.

  • Early June 2019 - Evaluation of submissions received during exhibition period. Amendments incorporated into Draft Plans as required.

  • 17 June 2019 - Results of community consultation and final Draft Plans presented to Council for consideration and adoption.
