Lane Cove 2025 Community Workshops
Council has commenced a review of the Lane Cove 2025 Community Strategic Plan. The purpose of the review is to ensure the plan is accurate in describing our community's goals and aspirations for the future of Lane Cove in the long term.
During February, Council will be conducting three community workshops to provide opportunities for all residents, workers, business owners and other interested stakeholders to participate in the review.
In reviewing the Lane Cove 2025 Plan we will be focusing on our six main themes – Our Society, Our Built Environment, Our Natural Environment, Our Culture, Our Local Economy and Our Council. During the forums we will be asking participants to provide feedback and ideas about our primary goal and the main issues and challenges that are identified within each theme. We'll also be seeking ideas and suggestions about the objectives and strategies within each theme to assess their relevance and appropriateness today.
These workshops will be interactive and engaging and will provide opportunities for interested people within our community to actively participate in shaping the future of our local area.
Workshops will be held at the Lnae Cove Community Hub, 1 Pottery Lane, Lane Cove on:
- Saturday February 17: 2.00pm – 4.00pm
- Wednesday February 21: 11.00am – 1.00pm
- Wednesday February 21: 6.00pm – 8.00pm
If you are interested in participating in one of these workshops, please RSVP to Lane Cove Council by Thursday, 15 February, on 9911 3511 or by registering online. Light refreshments will be served at each session.
We look forward to your participation in this important review and would encourage you to familiarise yourself with the Lane Cove 2025 Plan to ensure your contribution is meaningful.
