Background
At its meeting of Monday 19 May Council resolved to undertake
community consultation relating to the naming of a new access road, community
centre and park at 304 – 314 Burns Bay Road. This includes the readdressing of
neighbouring properties.
The road crosses over 304 – 314 Burns Bay Road. To the east of
the new road will be a new park adjacent to the community centre which is
located beneath the road. A map of the neighbouring properties potentially to be
readdressed is available in the related documents below.
Overview
Council is seeking community suggestions for suitable names for
the road, park and community centre located at 304 – 314 Burns Bay Road, Lane
Cove.
A new access road is now complete across the site providing an
opportunity for a name that could also become a revised street address for
neighbouring properties. The site will also contain a new community centre with
an adjacent park both of which require a name.
