Council consulted with the community on a draft Voluntary Planning Agreement (VPA) in relation to 20-22 Mindarie Street and 30 Pinaroo Place, Lane Cove.
The VPA is associated with a Stage 1 Concept Plan Development Application (DA50/2019) for the demolition of existing structures and construction of a Residential Flat Building with 31 units. It seeks a variation to the LEP height controls to achieve a FSR of 1.8:1.
This agreement will require the Developer, the New South Wales Land and Housing Corporation, to transfer land at No 16 Pinaroo Place, Lane Cove to Council, free from encumbrances for nil consideration, for the purposes of a public park.
A post consultation report was received and noted at the Ordinary Council Meeting of 22 July 2019. The Minutes of the July meeting will be available on Councils website from 25 July 2019.

21 May 2019 - Related Concept Development Application DA50/2019 Advertised
21 May 2019 to 3 June 2019 - Exhibition period for community submissions on the related Concept Development Application
6 June to 5 July 2019 - Exhibition period for community submissions on Draft VPA
July 2019 - Evaluation of submissions received during exhibition period. Amendments incorporated into the VPA as required.
22 July 2019 - Results of community consultation presented to Council for further consideration.
