Council is a member of the World Health Organisation Global Network of Age-Friendly Cities and Communities. Following community consultation, Council has prepared a second Strategy for an Age-Friendly Lane Cove that will continue its commitment to making Lane Cove a good place for older people to live, work and visit.

Council is now inviting community comments on this Draft Plan. Comments received will assist Council to finalise the 'Strategy for an Age-Friendly Lane Cove: 2018–2023 Action Plan'.

These documents are also on public exhibition at the Civic Centre (48 Longueville Rd, Lane Cove), Lane Cove Library (Library Walk, Lane Cove) and Greenwich Library (48 Greenwich Road, Greenwich).
