HACC
services provide for frail aged people, people with disabilities
and their carers to assist where possible to maintain independent
living. The HACC program is jointly funded by the Commonwealth and
State Governments. There are a number of local organisations who

The Department
of Ageing Disability and Home Care (DADHC) is responsible for
improving service delivery and providing opportunities for older
people and people with a disability to assist them to participate
fully in community life and to improve their quality of life.

If you have
any concerns or have experienced a problem with a community service
contact the Community Services Division in the NSW Office of the
Ombudsman on 9286 1000 or www.ombo.nsw.gov.au
