Living in the Area » Lane Cove Citizenship Awards   Since 1992, Lane Cove Council has presented the Lane Cove Citizenship Awards to acknowledge the contributions made by high achievers in the local community. Awards are presented in the following categories: Young Achiever Music/Art/Culture Sport Workplace Community Service Leadership Outstanding Business of Lane Cove Access and Disability Sustainability Citizen of the Year. Lane Cove 2009 Citizenship Awards Do you know of someone in Lane Cove who deserves an award? Residents of Lane Cove, owners of businesses and employees of businesses located within the Lane Cove local government area are cordially invited to nominate a person or persons whom they feel has made a significant contribution to the community of Lane Cove during 2008, or for many years, for an Award in any or all of the categories listed below. Nominations of volunteers in any field, are particularly welcome. Nominations close on Monday 15 February 2010.  For more information, download the Information Sheet and the Nomination Form.
