Highlights of the January Newsletter include:
New Facility Opens: Brand new community facilities are now open in the recently completed Little Street development. Known as the Lane Cove Community Hub, the facility includes the new Terrace Function Room, capable of holding a function for over 150 people with access to the adjacent commercial kitchen.
Rosenthal Avenue Car Park Redevelopment to Commence: Council has appointed ADCO Constructions as the Design and Construction Builder for the Rosenthal Avenue Car Park Redevelopment. Excavation works commence mid 2017 with 50% of the car parking spaces available during the fi rst months of construction. The car park will then not be available for approximately 12 months after which time 80 spaces will be available on site. The full car park of 500 spaces is expected in early 2020.
Sunset in the Village Events Program: Brand new activities this year include an evening Artist’s Market; free yarn-bombing workshops and the chance to immerse yourself in Lane Cove’s village history with our very first audio guide.
