Our Environment » Battery & Light Globe Recycling   Lane Cove Council collects household quantities of single use and rechargeable batteries and residential light bulbs for recycling. Simply drop off your old batteries and light bulbs at the Lane Cove Council Administration Centre during opening hours. Please note: We do not accept car batteries and other large batteries. This is a service for residents of Lane Cove Council and commercial quantities will not be accepted. All light bulbs must be clean and unbroken. For safety reasons, we request that you wrap light bulbs in old newspaper when you drop them off. For more information contact the Waste and Environmental Education Officer on 9911 3616.
