eco-gardening, composting, worm farming and much more over the coming
months. See below for details!

Eco Garden and Bushcare activities
Stoney Gully Bushcare/ Eco garden group
Are you interested in gardening, growing your own food or just being outdoors and meeting new people?
Then join the Stoney Gully Bushcare group to practice or learn new skills in the Eco Garden and improve the bushland gully surrounding the Nursery.
They meet on the:
4th Wednesday in February, April, June, August and October
4th Saturday in March, May, July, September and November -
why not come along and help out, no experience is needed!

Community Nursery and propagation activities
The
Community Plant Nursery will be open each Friday between
10.30 am
and 3.30 pm (excluding public holidays), where you are welcome to
visit and participate in nursery activities.
Activities can include seed sowing, potting up plants, cleaning
pots, controlling weeds, general administration. We ask that you
RSVP your intention to visit to assist with organisation.
- Fridays in April: 4th, 11th and 18th
- Fridays in May: 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th
- Fridays in June: 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th
Plant
Propagation workshops
Workshops
will be run on the 1st Saturday of each month, from
9.00 am – 12
noon . These include seed processing, sowing and/or potting up plants.
Please book in for these workshops, as space is limited! Upcoming
dates are:
- Sat 5 April: Growing Banskias
- Sat 3 May: Ferns: potting and planting
- Sat 7 June: Seeds: up close and personal
