Community Workshops

Lane Cove residents will have the opportunity to deepen their level of understanding of sustainability and become community champions, with the return of the Australian Conservation Foundation’s (ACF) award-winning GreenHome program.

The program was launched at a public meeting on 12 November 2009. It was a great night full of inspiring and collaborative ideas. There is still an opportunity for everyone to get involved with the program and to make some of these ideas happen!

At this point in the program, there are two ways that people can get involved:

  • Champions Project Program - a project-based training program supported by a series of 4 workshops; and
  • Public Events Group - to work together with ACF on brainstorming, designing and deciding on events that involve ‘all’ people in the community.

For more information on the program or to apply, please visit the GreenHome website: http://www.acfonline.org.au/articles/news.asp?news_id=2560

Please contact GreenHome Project Coordinator Alex Graham for any further questions or information about this program: a.graham@acfonline.org.au / Ph. 02-8270 9903.
