Under the Sustainability Small Grants Program, local community organisations can apply for grants of up to $2000 for community sustainability projects.
The Sustainability Small Grants Program will fund projects that:
1. Increase the environmental sustainability of Lane Cove through projects that have direct and measurable positive environmental outcomes in relation to:
- Energy consumption;
- Water consumption;
- Waste avoidance, recycling and reuse;
- Biodiversity and bushland; or
- Sustainable transport.
2. Encourage the Lane Cove community to adopt more environmentally sustainable attitudes and behaviours.
There were will two funding rounds per year under the Sustainability Small Grants Program.
Council also has a Financial Assistance Program for community based organisations that address the social, community or cultural needs of the community.

PROPOSED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE UNDER ROUND 6 SUSTAINABILITY SMALL GRANTS PROGRAM
Lane Cove Council gives public notice in accordance with Section 356 of the Local Government Act 1993 that it proposes to give financial assistance to the following organisations.
Subject to no objections being received, the financial assistance will be provided.
