Our Environment » Sustainability Advisory Committee   The key objective of the Sustainability Advisory Committee (SAC) is to assist Council in the prioritisation and implementation of strategies and initiatives to achieve sustainability as primarily set out in Council's long-term Sustainability Action Plan. The SAC consists of: Five residents of Lane Cove appointed from public nominations; One youth representative nominated by the Lane Cove Youth Advisory Committee; One business representative nominated by the Lane Cove Chamber of Commerce; One representative nominated by the Lane Cove Bushland Management Advisory Committee; Three Councillors; and A member of staff. Nominations for community positions on the SAC are advertised following each General Election of Council. Casual vacancies may be advertised from time-to-time.
