Enjoys
all sports, especially cricket, rugby union, soccer and surf
skiing, although, due to time restrictions, not so active
in them now. |
| Background
|
Born
in Annandale . Grew up in Beverly Hills . Lived in Tokyo ,
Japan (1978-1981), Los Angeles , California (1981-1984). Moved
to Lane Cove in August 1984.
Qualified
in Accounting and Marketing. Justice of the Peace.
Has
held a variety of senior executive positions in the Cosmetics
and Retailing industries within Australia , Japan , South-East
Asia and the USA .
Has
worked for major international companies and in his own company/s.
Currently
the Publisher/Editor of The Village Observer, which he started
in 1993.
Ian
is the Chairman of the Lane Cove Club Limited, Vice President
of Lane Cove Community Aid Service, Patron of the Lane Cove
Art Society, Patron of Greenwich/Lane Cove Computer Pals for
Seniors and Immediate Past President of the Rotary Club of
Lane Cove.
He
was elected to Lane Cove Council in September 1991 and was
Deputy Mayor of Lane Cove in 1999 to 2000 and 2000 to 2001. |

I stood for Council |
To
work positively for the residents of Lane Cove and, with them,
make Lane Cove an even better place to live, work and play.
