Ordinary Meeting of Council
Council's next Ordinary Council Meeting will be held on Monday, 20 July 2020.
To comply with the directives of the NSW Government and in the interests of public health the meeting will be conducted online.
Members of the public will not be permitted to attend the Council Chambers. Councillors are also not permitted to attend in person and will be participating in the meeting via video conference.

Written addresses are to be received by Council no later than midnight, on the
day prior to the meeting. Please note that the time limit
of three minutes per address still applies so please make sure your written
submission meets this criteria (500 words maximum). Members of the public can submit any visual or audio
material in support of their written submission. Alternatively, because of the
current circumstances, they can record their 3 minute submission and email it
by the deadline stated. Given video file sizes can be large, we
would recommend using a service such as dropbox, wetransfer, google docs or
have any questions, please contact Council’s Governance Officer on 9911 3525.
Ordinary Council Meetings are generally held on the 3rd Monday of each month with the exception of January when there are no meetings scheduled and December where the meeting is usually held earlier in the month. A Council Meeting Schedule for 2020 has been adopted by Council.
Council meetings commence at 6:30pm if a Closed Session of Council is to be held. However, if members of the public are not interested in any business recommended by the General Manager to be considered in Closed Session, or if there is no such business, Council will ordinarily commence consideration of all other business at 7:00pm.
Council's meetings are governed by a Code of Meeting Practice, which outlines rules for submission of business items, attendance, debate and declaration of interest. For questions regarding meeting proceedings please contact the Manager - Governance on (02) 9911 3525.
Members of the public can address Council on any matter for a maximum of three (3) minutes during the Public Forum portion of Council meetings.
Register with us before you speak (please note the above details applicable to the April and May 2020 meetings)
All speakers in the public forum must register by using the online form by 5:00pm on the day of the Council meeting.
If you have any visual or audio material in support of your address please provide this by 12 noon on the day of the Council meeting. This may be seny via email to firstname.lastname@example.org using the reference Public Forum.
