Ordinary Meeting of Council  

The next Ordinary Council Meeting will be held on Monday, 19 April 2021.  

Public Forum

Members of the public are invited to attend the public forum at the 19 April 2021 Council Meeting commencing at 7.00pm.   However, to comply with the directives of the NSW Government and in the interests of public health, seating will be made available at the meeting for a maximum of 30 people.

Should you wish to be in attendance at the meeting, please register using the online form.  When registering via the on-line form, please indicate whether you wish to speak at the Public Forum.

The deadline for all registrations is midnight, on the day prior to the meeting.  

The first 30 registered attendees will be permitted entry into the Council Chambers. All attendees will be required to sign in using the CovidSafe QR Code which will be displayed outside the Council Chambers.

The public forum will still be conducted online, using the online meeting platform, Zoom. Should you wish to speak at the public forum via Zoom please register by using the online form no later than midnight, on the day prior to the meeting. A Zoom meeting link will be emailed to the provided email address.

A time limit of three (3) minutes per public forum address applies.

Members of the public can still submit their written address via email to Written addresses are to be received by Council no later than midnight, on the day prior to the meeting. (500 words maximum). 

The meetings will continue to be live-streamed. Ordinary Council Meetings will be viewable via the webcasting page on this website.

Agendas and Meetings

Ordinary Council Meetings are generally held on the 3rd Monday of each month with the exception of January when there are no meetings scheduled and December where the meeting is usually held earlier in the month.

A Council Meeting Schedule for 2021 has been adopted by Council.

Council meetings commence at 6:30pm if a Closed Session of Council is to be held. However, if members of the public are not interested in any business recommended by the General Manager to be considered in Closed Session, or if there is no such business, Council will ordinarily commence consideration of all other business at 7:00pm.

Meeting Procedure

Meetings open to the public are held in the Lane Cove Council Chambers, located on the lower ground floor of the Lane Cove Civic Centre at 48 Longueville Road Lane Cove.
