Watercraft Registration

Dinghies, kayaks, stand up paddleboards and canoes stored along Council's public foreshore areas must be registered. Registration is free.

If your watercraft has a GREEN registration tag, it is out of date and needs to be replaced by a RED registration tag as soon as possible.

If your watercraft has a RED registration tag, your watercraft is currently registered until the end of 2024, and you are not required to do anything.

If your watercraft doesn’t have a registration tag, it’s definitely time to register it!

Complete a Watercraft Tag Application Form.

A watercraft tag will then be issued and must be displayed on the watercraft.

Watercraft Lockers

Watercraft Lockers for boats, dinghies and kayaks are located at Woodford Bay and Yacht Bay.

Due to their popularity, there is a waitlist to hire a locker.

To be placed on the waitlist, complete an Application form for Woodford Bay and/or Yacht Bay Watercraft Locker.
