​Rooms
Our Nursery caters for children aged 6 weeks to
two years and is licensed for sixteen children each day. Staffing in this room
includes two Diploma-trained educators and 2 educators with Certificate III in
early childhood. We work on a staff: child ratio of 1:4.
Blue Room is home to children
between 2yrs and 4yrs of age, catering for 22 children each day. Staffing in
this room includes an Early Childhood Teacher, a Diploma-trained educator and 2 Certificate III qualifed educators.
In this room we work on a staff: child ratio of 1:5.
Green room caters for children
aged 3yrs to 6yrs and also caters for 20 children each day. Staffing in this
room includes an Early Childhood Teacher and two Diploma-trained educators. We offer a preschool program in this room.
Programs
Throughout the centre we use the Early Years Learning Framework
(EYLF) which guides us to provide environments where interactions and
experiences enhance childrens 'Belonging, Being and Becoming'. The EYLF
encourages us to look at the capabilities and interests of children and provide
both structured and spontaneous learning opportunities to promote the development
of the whole child.
The EYLF values the learning experiences that early childhood
provides for children and details the five (5) learning outcomes that guide our
reflective teaching:-
