Any NSW resident can join the Library under reciprocal membership arrangements. Membership is free. Proof of identification with your name and current home address is required to join the Library. If you do not have a current NSW Drivers Licence/Photo Card, two forms of identification are required. You are responsible for all items borrowed on your card.
If you are under 18 years of age you must have your application signed by a parent/guardian who needs to supply identification. Parents/guardians are responsible for items issued to people under 18 years of age.
If any personal details change or your card is lost, please notify the library. A fee applies for replacement of lost cards.
The personal details requested on this form are required under the New South Wales Library Act, 1939, and Library Regulations and will only be used in connection with the requirements of this legislation. Access to this information is restricted to Lane Cove Council officers and other people authorised under the Act. Council is to be regarded as the agency that holds the information. You may make application for access or amendment to information held by Council.
