Book Bob Campbell Oval
Bob Campbell Oval is named after Bob Campbell and his father, Bob “Scotty” Campbell. Originally called Gore Creek Reserve, the oval was renamed in honour of the two dedicated Greenwich sportsmen at the Greenwich Village Games in 2004. Both Campbells served the Greenwich community for decades as president of the Greenwich Sports Club. Bob Campbell was an active member of the Lane Cove (especially Greenwich) sports community for more than thirty years and he was a leader in voluntary work, opening the gates to the reserve each day and setting up the soccer nets. He turned the lights on for night training and ensured the gates were locked again at the end of the day.
Gore Creek Reserve and Bob Campbell Oval can be accessed from St Vincents Road, Greenwich.
There are lights at Bob Campbell Oval for night games or training.
