Marjorie York Playground is located on the corner of Sofala Road and Tambourine Bay Road adjacent to Yorks corner shops. Marjorie York (1899-1999) and her husband ran the grocery business here from 1938 until Mr York's death in 1969. Council bought the park land from them in 1956 and renamed the park in Mrs York's honour in 1999.
The park is shaded and fully fenced with play unit, basket swing and a historical steam roller.
There is limited access to on-street parking.
