Located on the corner of Mindarie Street and Kullah Parade, the fenced playspace includes a range of swings, natural-looking play materials and equipment that is suitable for people of all abilities to enjoy. Also on-site are accessible BBQ facilities, accessible toilets, seniors fitness equipment, a muiti-use court, timber climbing area and links to Batten Reserve bushwalks.
Council officially opened the Mindarie Park Inclusive Playspace on Saturday 23 February 2019, which features an inclusive play space as part of the NSW Government’s Everyone Can Play program. The project was made possible following $1million in funding from the NSW Department of Planning and a further $800,000 in Council contributions.
The park is bounded by Pinaroo Place, Mindarie Street and Kullah Parade. 8 parking spaces are available on Kullah Parade as well as parking in Pinaroo Place.
