There are over 60 parks and reserves within the 10 square kilometres of the Lane Cove Council area providing access to a wide variety of recreational spaces for the local community.

Council has developed a Playground Strategy to plan for the provision of well located, well designed, fun and accessible playgrounds for the next 5 years and beyond. This includes details on future upgrades to local and regional playgrounds.
