Manns Point

Manns Point Lookout: Council has received funding through the Greater Sydney Crown Land Open Space Activation Program 2020-2021 which funds upgrades to Crown Land that deliver more quality green open space for local communities. As part of the project the sandstone steps to the foreshore from Manns Point Lookout has been upgraded to help improve the bush track. Specialised rope access bush regeneration work will also be carried out on the cliffs. Council will also look to consult with the local community this financial year on other improvements to Manns Point Lookout.

Manns Point is accessed from Prospect Street while the lower level of the park is off O'Connell Street, Greenwich.

This is a grassed waterfront reserve overlooking Parramatta River with panoramic views to city. There is a walking trail from the upper to lower level.

Facilities include:

  • Picnic facilities
  • Parking (on-street in Prospect Street and also on the lower level of the park, adjacent to Greenwich Sailing Club)
  • Toilets (near the Sailing Club including an accessible toilet)

The lower level park is also the base for Greenwich Sailing Club. The park is an off-leash dog exercise area away from the picnic area.

This park and the surrounding streets are declared Alcohol Free Zones on New Year’s Eve, from 6pm on 31 December to 9am on 1 January.
