Council provides a rebate to eligible pensioners of up to a maximum of $250 per year.
To be eligible for a full year rebate, the date the pension was granted must be prior to 1 July in any rating year. A customer will be eligible for a 75% rebate if the date of grant is prior to 1 October. The rebate will then be calculated based on the number of full quarters left in the year relevant to the "effective date" (date of grant) on the Pensioner Concession Card.
