Track Mates
This group gets to explore the many bush tracks in Lane Cove - visiting a different reserve each month. Join Council's Bush Regenerator and help to maintain tracks with light prunning, clearing drains and reporting on any larger maintenance required. One of
Lane Cove's larger bushland areas, this area is a part of the National Estate
due to the presence of a threatened ecological community of Hygrophoraceae
fungi. It also contains a diverse vegetation community through which Gore Creek
flows. The Bushcare group here works at several different sites, rotating each
month, tackling areas of weed infestation in this lovely remnant bushland.
