BagShare aims to reduce the number of plastic bags in the Lane Cove community by allowing shoppers to share reusable bags. BagShare collection bins are placed at convenient locations within the Lane Cove Village. Shoppers are able to borrow a reusable bag from the BagShare collection bin when they have forgotten to bring their own, and return it the next time they visit.
BagShare bins are currently in the following locations:
- The Canopy - Rosenthal Ave Lane Cove
- Woolworths - Marketplace, The Plaza, Lane Cove
- IGA Express - 165 Burns Bay Road Lane Cove
BagShare is an initiative of the Lane Cove Sustainability Action Group. The project is carried out in partnership with Lane Cove Council.
