About Alex Cox:
Alex Cox is a multidisciplinary artist, musician, and experienced workshop facilitator with a background in both community engagement and creative arts education. He has led screen printing workshops for adults at 3rd Rail Print Space in London, as well as percussion and music workshops for children across the UK with organisations such as O Duo and Children’s Classic Concerts. His visual arts practice includes mosaic work and sculpture using found materials, including a striking series of human-scale figures made from shredded paper.
Now based in Sydney, Alex also works in the disability sector, using music and music production as tools to build connection and creativity with clients. His ability to combine hands-on artistic practice with empathy and adaptability makes him a strong and thoughtful facilitator, one who creates space for participants to feel ownership, agency, and joy in the creative process.
