Let it grow

The garden beds at Hughes Park Community Garden. The raised beds are filled with soil ready for planting.

The Hughes Park Community Garden, located near Burns Bay Road, has received an upgrade.

We worked with the existing community group to create the reconfigured garden layout. Council invested $10,000 and we also used a grant from the Department of Planning and Environment.

The community garden is a great way for locals to learn about food and sustainable gardening.
