Council has partnered with reusable cup brand, Huskee, to introduce a swap-and-go system for takeaway coffee! Local businesses and residents are encouraged to say no to single-use takeaway cups and yes to HuskeeSwap.
To join the program, simply purchase a HuskeeCup (made from coffee husks, a waste material produced in the milling of coffee) and place your order. On your next visit, hand your dirty HuskeeCup to the barista, who will then serve your coffee in a clean HuskeeCup.
With more than a dozen local cafes on board so far, there are plenty of options to purchase your cup from.
