Looking for a grape day out this November? Look no further than Food & Wine by the River at Burns Bay Reserve on Sunday 5 November.

Lane Cove Council and Mudgee Wine Region are the perfect pairing for North Shore locals to enjoy food and wine from close to 20 popular regional stallholders.

Nearly 20 of the Mudgee region’s wineries and local produce providers will head to Lane Cove for the event, along with other food stalls, live music, and activities for the kids.

There’ll also be free face painting and games for the kids, and dogs are welcome too (on leash).

Given the recent wet weather we suggest bringing the umbrella, just incase.

Food & Wine by the River is a licensed event with no BYO or glass permitted. 

How to get there

Drive

There is event parking at St Ignatius' College (Regis Campus).

From here you can catch a shuttle bus to the event.

The car park opens at 10:30am.

Shuttle Bus

Council's Free Shuttle Bus departs from Lane Cove Library on Longueville Road.

The route takes you to Riverview Street and Kooyong Avenue where you can alight for Food and Wine by the River.

The bus will depart every 20 minutes.

Public Bus

Board the 252 or 530 bus from either the Lane Cove Interchange or the bus stop outside Burns Bay Bookery.

Buses run approximately every 15 minutes.

Alight just before Waterview Drive on Burns Bay Road. Follow the signs and walk to Burns Bay Reserve (Approximately 8 minutes).
