Other Ways to Pay


BPAY allows you to pay over the phone or through the internet from your bank account.

Contact your participating financial institution for more details.

Commonwealth Bank Branch

Payment of amount due may be made at any branch of the Commonwealth Bank (not agencies) by cash or cheque.

You do not need to hold an account with the bank. 

No transfer fee will be charged by the Commonwealth Bank, however Council will not be responsible for delays in the banking system.

Call: 1300 798 794 (Or, if outside Australia call: 61 2 9770 3429) and follow the prompts.

Securepay accept MasterCard and VISA.

The Securepay service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.


Log on to Council's Online Rate Payment section, where you can pay rates by Credit Card (MasterCard and VISA).


Cheques are made payable to: LANE COVE COUNCIL and crossed "Not Negotiable".

Receipts will be issued if requested.

In Person

Accounts may be paid at the Customer Service desk at the Civic Centre, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (Except Public Holidays).

Cheque, VISA or Mastercard only.

Lane Cove Council is no longer accepting cash payments.

Post dated cheques will not be accepted by Council.
