Greenwich Point Wharf

Greenwich Point Wharf is being upgraded as part of the Safe Accessible Transport program to make public transport safe, inclusive and easy to use for all passengers, especially people with disability, older people, people with prams or luggage and people with limited mobility. The project received planning approval in July 2022.

Construction is planned to start on Monday 22 April 2024. Work will take around eight months to complete, weather permitting. During this time, the existing ferry services will not be running and access to the surrounding work area will be closed to the public.

Transport for NSW has confirmed that while the wharf is being upgraded there will be no ferry services to or from Greenwich Point Wharf and the local bus network will provide access to St Leonards and the City. The bus services will be extended into the evenings and weekends to match the existing ferry timetable while the wharf is closed.
