Interests

Travel and exploring Sydney, the stunning harbour and natural environments, reading, especially biographies, gardening, art and current affairs.

I enjoy volunteering and have a particular interest in supporting our older residents.

Background

After graduating in Physiotherapy at The University of Queensland I worked across several Australian states and the UK before settling in Sydney. I loved practising as a hospital physiotherapist and the enormous range of people I came across, both patients and colleagues. We lived on the upper north shore before moving to Lane Cove ten years ago, with my children attending schools locally. More recently I have been employed in an engineering firm working with Australian manufacturers to reduce their energy consumption and utilise more energy efficient practices.

I continue to use my allied health experience in volunteering, and would advocate for more facilities and infrastructure to encourage sport and physical activities for all ages.

Why you stood for Council

Lane Cove is a wonderful place to live and I am continually inspired by the people I meet here. I stood for council to consult with and represent the residents and contribute to further improving outcomes for all. I am grateful to the residents of Lane Cove for the opportunity and the privilege to represent them on local council.
