Council's newest venue, the Terrace Function Room is located within the Lane Cove Community Hub at 1 Pottery Lane, Lane Cove on the Lower Ground Floor.                     

This venue is a flexible meeting space available for hire on a regular or casual basis. The carpeted venue space is approximately 189m2 and can accommodate 180 people for a standing event and 130 people for a sit-down event. The venue has a retractable stage, 150 chairs and 22 trestle tables available onsite with access to an external terrace.  

If needed, there is an in-house AV (Audio Visual) system available for use. If you require the AV system, please contact our Bookings Team at bookings@lanecove.nsw.gov.au to arrange an appointment during business hours for training and testing your equipment.

There are approximately 200 car spaces in the Council Car Park available at this location for hirers and visitors (entry via Little Street, 3 hours free parking).

The Terrace Function Room is available for hire 7 days a week, from 7.00am - 11:30pm, Monday to Sunday. Music must also stop at 11:30pm.

The following maximum occupancy level applies to the Terrace balcony.

6pm-10pm                70 people

10pm - 11.30pm       36 people
