Since 1962, Lane Cove Historical Society (LCHS) has been researching the history of life on the North Shore.

LCHS also has the curatorship of Carisbrook Historic House.

Our activities include:

> Monthly Open Days at Carisbrook with Devonshire Teas served in the garden courtyard

> Monthly guest speakers at Lane Cove Library

> Occasional evening live music at Carisbrook

> LCHS Lane Cove History Prize ($1,500) for aspiring writers of local history.
