Construction Traffic Management Plans
This page provides the approved Construction Traffic Management Plans (CTMP) for existing developments within Lane Cove.
They can relate to Complying Development Certificates, Council approved Development Applications or State Significant Developments approved by the Department of Planning and Environment.
A CTMP is a site-specific document outlining strategies to manage vehicle and pedestrian traffic during construction, aiming to minimise safety risks and disruptions to the public. It details haul routes, site access points, loading zones, and mitigation measures for nearby residents and traffic flow.
This is a mandatory document which usually forms part of the Approval conditions for a Development and is required to be reviewed by Council's Traffic team prior to the issue of a construction certificate. The CTMP is then approved by Council's traffic team and often includes site specific conditions to mitigate impacts.
A CTMP can also relate to the excavation or demolition portions of developments.
