Lane Cove Council declared a Climate Emergency in 2019 and have since been working to reduce our emissions, and respond to the impact of a changing climate.
Council is now preparing a new Climate Emergency Plan to guide the direction of actions to respond to this issue over the next 4 years and would like your input.
There will be 2 Community Workshops, one daytime and one evening, where you can share your ideas and local knowledge to help shape the Climate Emergency Plan and set priorities for the years ahead. Attend a workshop of your choice:
Tuesday 10th March
6:00pm-8:00pm
Lane Cove Council Civic Centre - Cove Room
Thursday 12th March
10:00am – 12:00pm
Lane Cove Council Civic Centre - Cove Room
Please arrive on time. These are interactive workshops for the full duration (not drop-in sessions), and key context will be shared at the beginning.
During this workshop we will:
- Discuss what Council has achieved through the current Climate Resilience Action Plan
- Brainstorm new ideas, actions, and focus areas for the new Climate Emergency Plan
