Better Decisions, Stronger Growth

Next date: Thursday, 29 October 2026 | 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Every growing business reaches moments where a leader has to make a significant call: hire another employee, adopt new technology, launch a service, enter a market or commit capital to growth.

The challenge is rarely a lack of ideas. It's knowing which ideas and investments deserve the business's limited time, money and people — and what needs to be true for them to deliver value.

Across our work, we've seen important decisions considered through one part of the business at a time. But an investment that stacks up financially can still fall short if customers don't value it or the organisation isn't ready to deliver it.

This practical session introduces a simple framework for pressure-testing a decision through three connected lenses: Customer, People and Finance.

With AI now high on the agenda for many businesses, we'll bring the framework to life through a worked example: should this business invest in AI, and what needs to be true for that investment to succeed?

You'll see how to identify the problem worth solving, test whether the organisation is ready, examine whether the numbers stack up, and decide whether to proceed, pilot, revise or pause.

You'll leave with a practical framework you can apply to AI and other significant business investments.

There will be networking during the event, creating an opportunity to share experiences and connect with other local owners and managers facing similar growth decisions.
