Lane Cove Festival is back this September - and this year, it’s bigger, bolder and bursting with Fringe energy! Thanks to a new partnership with Sydney Fringe Festival, Lane Cove will come alive with an exciting mix of performances and creative events.

Expect everything from local legends to Fringe favourites and even an international act, as we showcase our cultural venues and celebrate the creative spirit of our community.

Now in its 33rd year, Lane Cove Festival remains a vibrant celebration of art, music, food and connection - now with a fresh, unexpected edge. Scroll down for all the events!

Discover our unique spaces

Lane Cove is home to a range of state-of-the-art performance and cultural venues, which will come alive throughout September as part of Lane Cove Festival @ Sydney Fringe. A packed program across the Pottery Lane Performance Space, The Canopy stage, Gallery Lane Cove, Carisbrook Historic House, and more, will give local performers and organisations the chance to reach new audiences and shine on a bigger stage.

 

Program highlights

The festival kicks off with a spectacular Launch Night on Friday 5 September, transforming The Canopy into a vibrant playground of circus, music, theatre, dance, and comedy.

Throughout the month, visitors can explore an exciting lineup of shows and experiences designed to surprise, engage, and entertain, including:

  • Taylor and the Besties: Eras Tour tribute concert
  • Pop up Choir in the Canopy
  • Kiss the Queen: Victorian cosplay party at Carisbrook Historic House
  • The Judy Bailey Band at the Civic Centre
  • Navratri Gala
  • ...and so much more!

 

A special international feature!

A major highlight will be the residency at Pottery Lane Performance Space by Wright & Grainger, the award-winning UK duo renowned for their powerful fusion of storytelling and music. Their immersive performances promise an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages.

Adding a tasty twist, festival-goers can embark on the Fringe on a Stick food trail, featuring $10 skewers at Lane Cove’s favourite eateries all September long — a delicious way to support local businesses and be part of the festivities.
