Lane Cove Council is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with Sydney Fringe Festival, marking a bold step forward in activating Lane Cove’s cultural venues and positioning the community as a vibrant creative hub on Sydney’s north shore. The month-long partnership features performances from Lane Cove locals to Fringe Favourites, and even an international act!
This innovative collaboration will bring Sydney Fringe Festival’s signature energy and diverse programming to Lane Cove, aligning with Council’s strategic goal to maximise its world-class performance and cultural spaces. By weaving Sydney Fringe’s dynamic independent arts programming into the 33rd Lane Cove Festival, the partnership will broaden audience engagement, support local talent, and foster a thriving arts scene for residents and visitors alike.
Lane Cove is home to a number of state-of-the-art performances spaces which will be showcased throughout September as part of Lane Cove Festival @ Sydney Fringe. A packed program across the Pottery Lane Performance Space, The Canopy stage, Gallery Lane Cove, and Carisbrook Historic House to name a few, local performers and organisations will have the chance to reach a wider audience and share their talents.
The festival kicks off with a spectacular Launch Night on Friday 5 September, transforming The Canopy into an explosion of circus, music, theatre, dance, and comedy. Throughout the month, visitors can explore a jam-packed program of shows and experiences that promise to surprise and delight.
A major highlight will be the residency at Pottery Lane Performance Space by Wright & Grainger - the award-winning UK duo known for their powerful fusion of storytelling and music. Their immersive performances promise an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages.

Uncover the Unexpected this September
Lane Cove Festival is our annual festival, that showcases the broad range of activities, programs and groups that our community can enjoy throughout the year – but especially during our local festival!
From creative arts, to sustainability, to First Nations cultural education, to sport and recreation and food and drink, and everything in between, this year’s twist will keep you on your toes.

Fringe on a Stick!
Adding to the festivities, locals can explore the Fringe on a Stick food trail, featuring $10 skewers across Lane Cove’s favourite eateries all September long - a delicious way to support local businesses and join in the fun.
