Lane Cove Council is delighted to unveil the 2025 Lane Cove Festival program - a jam-packed celebration of creativity, culture and connection running throughout September. This year marks a landmark collaboration with the Sydney Fringe Festival, bringing bold theatre, live music, performance, and family-friendly entertainment to the North Shore in a celebration that’s bigger, bolder and more diverse than ever.

 

2025 Program Highlights

With over 50 events across Lane Cove’s parks, plazas, halls, and hidden gems, there’s truly something for everyone:

Live Performance & Theatre

  • Orpheus, Helios & Grandpa Poseidon – Critically acclaimed UK artists Wright & Grainger blend myth, music and modern storytelling
  • The Vagina Monologues – Lane Cove Theatre Company brings this powerful production to the local stage
  • Chasing the Rainbow – A heartwarming Oz-inspired original musical presented by a mixed-abilities ensemble Different Degrees
  • And What Will People Say? – A powerful immersive performance using Indian dance, music and spoken word to grapple with domestic violence
  • Dear Stranger – An interactive letter-writing installation by Tilda Cobham-Hervey at The Canopy

Music & Movement

  • At Your Request at Lane Cove Council Civic Centre with The Judy Bailey Band
  • Taylor Swift Eras Tribute Show – Dress-ups, dancers and all the hits
  • Barangay Beats by Kapwa Duo: Filipino rhythms meet feel-good pop
  • The Big Sing, LaVoce Community Choir Concert
  • Phonic Trio, TV Tunes & Movie Hits and Music in the Plaza featuring Lane Cove’s talented local bands
  • Zumba, Mat Pilates & South Asian Dance – Free community fitness and dance experiences

Family & Kids

  • Pizza + Movie Night and Petting Zoo
  • Girl Guides Campfire, Spring Native Plant Stall, and Backyard Habitat Open Garden
  • Children’s Art Workshop for the new Galuwa Recreation Centre

Art & Culture

  • Repair | Replace Exhibition and Lane Cove Art Award at Gallery Lane Cove
  • Cockatoo Comics Zine Workshop
  • Moments in Music: Music from the Movies with Graham Ball
