Kindy Cove Turns 50!

You’re invited to Kindy Cove’s 50th birthday!

For 50 years, Kindy Cove has been where Lane Cove’s little ones make their first friends, paint their first masterpieces and start their learning journey. Join us to celebrate everyone who has been part of the story: today’s children and families, past students (now all grown up!), former educators and our wider community.

On the day

• Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony
• Unveiling of our new entrance sculptures by First Nations artist collective Gwiyaala Aboriginal Art
• Birthday cake cutting, music, entertainment and craft activities
• A display of 50 years of Kindy Cove photos and memories

Share your memories: Are you a Kindy Cove alumni, or did your family or a former educator attend? Send your old photos and stories to KindyCove@lanecove.nsw.gov.au by 26 October so they can be part of the celebration.

Registration is free and essential, as places are limited. Please register each adult and child attending. Please note that, for safety purposes, all students and their parents will need to sign out of the service for the day before signing back in for the party.

Photos and video will be taken on the day. Please let our team know if you or your child would prefer not to be photographed. Kindy Cove will not post photos of children publicly.
