Come and try orienteering, which is a navigation sport for all ages (from 8 to 80+). Orienteering combines a love of the outdoors with the challenge of finding your way with a map and compass.
Orienteering caters to all fitness levels - from the casual walker to the elite athlete. You can participate individually or in a group - orienteering is an enjoyable outdoor family activity, where the kids can lead their parents on an ‘adventure’. Don’t worry if you have never read a map or used a compass - the basic skills are easily learnt, and experienced orienteers will be on hand to assist.
There will be a number of courses to choose from one to six kilometres, for beginners and young children to super fit adults. You can start anytime between 9:30 am and 11:00 am and most participants will complete the course within an hour.
